Dongguan's First Overseas Brand Expansion Conference

On November 1, 2024, Dongguan's inaugural Overseas Brand Development Conference was held in Songshan Lake. The conference's theme was "Digital Trade in Dongguan, Connecting the Globe."

During the conference, Dongguan will launch the Dongguan Digital Trade Port and introduce innovative services including the Huawei (Dongguan) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Service Innovation Center, and the Xinhua New Media International E-commerce and Digital Economy Industry Base. It will also establish overseas service centers and high-tech product exhibition and trade centers for Dongguan brands in Vietnam and the United States. These platforms are designed to promote the development of digital trade for Dongguan's enterprises and bring new opportunities to global commerce.

Dongguan boasts a diversified industrial system, with 21,000 industrial enterprises producing over 60,000 different products across 34 major industrial categories. The city is renowned for its focus on technological innovation and advanced manufacturing. By 2023, Dongguan's total value of imports and exports ranked fifth nationally and second within Guangdong Province.
